Have you ever heard this word before -"Mob Lynching"? If yes, then you should consider yourself unfortunate. Even more unfortunate if you pass your judgements without knowing its meaning. Let me explain it briefly - "Mob Lynching is a premeditated extrajudicial killing by a group". To be more accurate, a group with common traits like race, religion etc. (generally in majority) execute such killings. They keep themselves above any authority of the country. An African living in America, a Hindu in between the Muslims or a Muslim in between the Hindus, are they not humans? Killing them just to show your superiority takes you nowhere. I think all of you carry humanity in your heart. Don't you ?
A 15 year old boy, Sanju Rathore, was lynched in Rampur. His only mistake was to born in this community of hatred. Similar was the case of Tabrez Ansari, who was brutally beaten by a group for the allegations of stealing. Mob Lynching is all around us and it has always been. There are many other incidents which cannot be mentioned in a single article. Few days ago, a rally against mob lynching in Surat turned violent. Isn't it ironical ?
Mob Lynching paralyzes the country. There is an urgent need to stop such nuisance from spreading. We don't just talk about the problem, we hunt for the solution, yes the practical solution that is executable. There are several areas to work on :
1. Monitoring of laws - Planning is important but execution is equally important for any plan to be successful. Same is the case with the laws. The government can make laws against mob lynching (and they have done so ) but their execution from higher to lower level is the area to focus on.
2. Harmony among communities - It is the responsibility of every person to respect other communities and their people. This will not only eliminate incidents of mob lynching but will also prosper the nation.
3. Fake news - The root of mob lynching. You cannot cut the roots but can cut the branches which will ultimately finish it. Never share any false or unauthenticated information on social media.
4. Believe judiciaries - "Satyamev Jayate" must be in your heads. You will not lose until you are wrong and once you believe this, you can fight all the evils conspiring against you.
